We received a request for certified translation of a set of documents, sent to us a scanned copy over email. The set consisted of accommodation contracts and their applicable general terms and conditions – documents in the fields of law and tourism.
Accommodation contracts are standard document forms to be filled out. Some sections were left empty. First, we translated one of the documents to confirm whether the empty sections need to be translated. After confirmation by the client that translation is indeed not necessary, we proceeded with the rest of the documents.
There was a great deal of repetitions between the separate contracts and the terms and conditions. Thanks to the use of translation memory during the translation process, we managed to achieve a consistent translation of all repetitions throughout all documents.
Once the professional translation was done – i.e. translation and revision by two linguists – the translated texts were formalized as certified translations. Each document's translation was attached to the original copy, sealed by the agency, stamped and signed by the sworn translator who performed the translation.

Printed copies of the translations were delivered to the client by courier.
